President Mr. Soonthorn Wangpattanathon started his foray into resort development with the Chaweng Regent Beach Resort on the main Chaweng Beach before building the more luxury boutique offer of the Melati Beach Resort and spa. The Melati was designed by architects Michael White and Made Wijaya with respect of nature’s wonders including building around the natural waterfall found in this tropical paradise.

The Review
Melati, which means the Jasmine flower, was the fragrant inspiration for the resort. Located at unspoiled Thongson Bay on the north coast of Samui Island, the Melati Beach Resort and Spa is a tropical oasis of lush greenery, fragrant flowers, private beachfront and even its own spectacular natural waterfall.
