Origins
Entre Cielos, which translates “between heavens” and “between skies”, is the passion project of three Swedish friends who aimed to nurture the concept of holistic hospitality. A worldwide search for the perfect location landed the three friends in the foothills of Mendoza in 2009, spending their lives savings on the 20-acre plot of land with sweeping views of the Andes mountain range. Keeping in line with Entre Cielos’ holistic approach, the friends aimed to build Latin America’s first authentic hamam spa; nurturing the mind, body and soul of their guests and the wider public through these ancient rituals. Dreaming of a wine hotel and spa where guests could reconnect with themselves and their surroundings, the Swedish trio have truly outdone themselves in all aspects, creating a truly fresh and innovative spa experience.

When purchased, the large vineyard was corrupt with unsalvageable 80yr old Malbec grape plants. However, the owners completely restored the vineyard, which now boasts its very own wine label,Marantal.

As you absorb the uninterrupted backdrop of the spectacular snowcapped Andes, you cannot help but sink into a relaxing harmony with your tranquil surroundings.
The Hamam spa is a tradition which originated in the Orient thousands of years ago and became part of the bathing ritual in Arabic, Greek, Roman, and Turkish cultures. Needless to say, Entre Cielos have given this ritual a luxurious makeover. From the authentic 6-circuit hamam, where guests rotate through steam rooms and bathing pools of different temperatures, to indulgent wine treatments including full body grape seed exfoliation and bathing in grape extracts, the spa is designed to ensure every visitor leaves their Hamam experience in a state of pure unadulterated bliss. Offering an impeccable gastronomic experience, the hotel restaurant provides local delicacies such as kid goat or freshly caught trout, baked to perfection.
The delight of the surroundings, and cuisine is enhanced further by the accompaniment of wine produced by the hotels very own vineyard, producing a crop of delicious and traditional Malbec wines. Each suite is individually styled on different types of wine; each with full 5-star décor, a private terrace and impressive views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms maintain the contemporary design of the hotel, yet add luxury to the highest capacity, once again adding to the secret and private splendor of Entre Cielos. A limited-edition pod is also available which sits elevated above the private vineyard, offering breath-taking views in every direction including skylights for nighttime star gazing.
