Origins
Built-in 1990, Mykonos Princess was purchased by its new owners and renovated to become a 5* hotel in 2015.
Princess Mykonos famously hosted Frank Sinatra in the 1980s and the hat that he wore can be spotted at the hotel reception in a specially designed cabinet.
Top Secret
On arrival, you will be taken to the bar which overlooks the pool for a welcome cocktail. It’s the best cocktail you will ever drink and can be ordered for the remainder of the holiday if you ask the bar staff nicely!
The Review
Mykonos has of late become the ‘go-to’ destination for party-goers, socialites and sun-seekers. The island is famous for its all-night clubbing scene, stunning beaches and white-washed labyrinthine alleyways. Princess Mykonos allows you to combine these with a level of service and sophistication that will leave you wanting to return time and time again.
Mykonos Princess is located 20 minutes from the local airport from where you will be picked up to be met by a warm and welcoming reception. What is striking on arrival is the stunning setting with the crystal-blue Aegean sea as a backdrop. The hotel has a delightful swimming pool with luxurious double beds surrounding it. There is a great bar offering amazing cocktails as well as a large selection of local Greek wines. We recommend the Malagouzia which is local and delicious! If you fancy going to the beach, there are many located in close proximity and can easily be accessed using the hotel transfers or on your own steam with two wheels.
The rooms at Princess are tastefully designed with modern furnishings and luxuries such as local organic toiletries and Nespresso coffee machines. On arrival, you can enjoy a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and local Greek sweets. Some of the rooms have private hot tubs which are best at sunset, and there is a fully equipped gym if you are feeling energetic.
The dining experience at Princess is fantastic. Tables are gracefully situated to maximise the stunning views. For breakfast, start with the local tahini, honey, jams and fresh orange juice and move on to choose from a number of tasting jars including avocado butter, peach compote or horiatiki. For mains, there are eggs ad infinitum – shakshuka, soufflé, eggs benny and Aegean scrambled eggs. Throughout the day you can indulge in an extensive food and drinks menu, freshly caught local fish and calamari are on the menu as well as huge Greek salads (and burgers and baguettes for those wanting something quick and easy).
The stand-out best aspect of Princess Mykonos is the superb service provided by the excellent staff who clearly love what they do and are passionate about it. We guarantee you will leave this hotel only when you’ve booked yourself in for your next visit!
