Origins
Designed by architect and hotel owner Ivan Cini, the hotel reimagined from what used to be the private home of a doctor in the 19th century. Ivan took inspiration from his travels, living in both Florence and Milan, and designed the interior, and curated the artwork. The hotel opened to guests in 2018.

Built-in an Art-Nouveau villa, Cini Palazzo is an elegant hotel in a peaceful spot where you can kick-back and relax after a day in Pisa’s busy centre.
The hotel façade has been kept since the original villa. Inside the cool, striking elegance of marbled floors and walls gives a sense of calm and order, contrasted against the dark terracotta staircases and paintings, which adds to the warmth and uniqueness of character.
The hotel’s five rooms are all spacious and each has its own added touches. Suite one is equipped with a huge whirlpool bath complete with Bluetooth sound system and lights. Twin shower units and sinks add to the sense of romance and indulgence.
Breakfast is offered at a nearby Ars café and bistro offering up delicious baked goodies, freshly squeezed juice and buttered eggs served with. Coffee is excellent too and provides the boost needed for a day in Pisa.
The hotel is situated just a 20-minute walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the historic centre is reached within minutes. The train station and shuttle to the airport is a five-minute walk.
