The rooms come in three sizes and two distinct looks, a darker, moodier Modern Dark and a lighter Colonial Bright, each with a king bed and a semi-open bathroom built for couples. The social heart of the hotel is up top, where a sixth-floor rooftop infinity pool and bar look out over the temples and rooftops of the old quarter, a fine spot for a sunset drink after a day's sightseeing. Down below there is a Thai restaurant, a lounge bar, a spa and a small gym, and a bright, high-ceilinged lobby that sets a more designed tone than the hotel's modest bracket might suggest.
